The Telegraph Museum Porthcurno is owned and operated by The PK Trust, which is an educational charity and heritage trust, registered charity no. 1062233
The work of the charity can broadly be split into four key areas:
Community engagement Working with our local communities to create opportunities for participation, employment, skill sharing and development.
Learning We provide formal and informal learning opportunities for all ages at the museum, in our local communities, and globally through our digital resources. Our Global Reconnections project will enable us to reach an even broader global audience.
Conservation and collections management We work to safeguard the future of our Collections, which includes the historic Porthcurno site itself, through collections management, strategic acquisitions, and research.
Operating the museum site This includes delivering world-class exhibitions that inspire and delight our visitors. The museum site is open every day throughout summer, and three days per week throughout the quieter winter months.
