The old maintenance block will make way for the new Learning Centre and Archive

OK, so perhaps it’s not the most exciting news, but it’s definately a sign that big, exciting things are on the horizon. We couldn’t resist taking a few photos of the old maintenance block just as the fencing went up. Expect to see some BIG changes very soon! In the meantime, take a look at our latest photos from on-site, including some beautiful spring flowers popping up around the WW2 Anderson shelter and the Dig For Victory garden.

The old maintenance block will make way for a brand new, dynamic building housing the Clore Duffield Learning Centre and brand new archive.

The WW2 Anderson shelter and Dig For Victory garden are situated just outside Eastern House.

We found spring in full bloom in the Museum scultpture gardens.
