Ideas Cafe presents ‘Gallipoli: Men at War’

One hundred years ago, telegraph electrician Lawrence Spalding recorded in his diary a unique perspective of the Gallipoli campaign from the cable laying ship ‘Levant II.’ Join speakers and Telegraph Museum volunteers Colin May and Mike Green as they explore the progress of the battle, Spalding’s reflections on what he witnessed and the challenges of maintaining a communications network under fire.
