We’re delighted to reveal that the Telegraph Museum Porthcurno has won a SILVER award at the South West Tourism Excellence Awards in the competitive Small Visitor Attraction of the Year category. The news follows our GOLD award at the Cornwall Tourism Awards, where we topped the Best Museum, Art & Industrial Attraction category back in November.
“This is a great start to the 2015 season. The museum has recently undergone a major redevelopment and opened major new exhibitions in June 2014 following a 9-month closure, so these awards are extra-special to us given the incredible work done by all our volunteers and staff. We’ve received wonderful feedback from visitors since we re-opened, and now receiving a gold and silver awards is fantastic.” Rachel Webster, Communications Manager
