We’ve been open a whole year since our redevelopment, and to mark the occasion we had a little Birthday celebration in the presence of HRH The Earl of Wessex.
We were delighted to be joined by HRH The Earl of Wessex on the 16th September, who enjoyed a guided around the Museum’s new exhibits. Lead by Honorary Curator, John Packer, and Chairman of the Trustee’s, Dave Foot, HRH The Earl of Wessex met with dedicated staff & volunteer’s and explored the vital, yet surprising role Porthcurno played in shaping global communication.
HRH The Earl of Wessex’s visit marks the latest milestone in the Museum’s development, and the success of the ‘developing for the future project’ where the Museum underwent complete redevelopment in 2014.
Since reopening, the Museum has had a very big year, and the team were truly delighted to be joined by HRH The Earl of Wessex on such a special day.
