Visit our new temporary exhibition until March 2016. With over 700 wrecks along England’s South coast, there’s so much to discover and learn about the often under-represented aspect of the First World War. Explore real and replica shipwreck artefacts and information about the War at sea including the struggles that took place on a daily basis, just off our shores.
Forgotten Wrecks of the First World War is a Heritage Lottery Funded (HLF) four year project devised and delivered by the Maritime Archaeology Trust to coincide with the centenary of the Great War.
